Job Summary
In this role as a Carpenter, you will measure and cut materials, study blueprints, and assemble and fasten materials to construct frameworks. Key responsibilities include measuring distances, cutting boards or plywood, and effectively communicating with supervisors and co-workers. Candidates must have 4 - 5 years of experience in a heavy highway/bridge environment and be capable of performing physical activities. This is a full-time position requiring work outdoors under varying weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- 4 - 5 years experience working in heavy highway/bridge environment
- Ability to perform physical activities including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials
- Good communication skills to provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates
