Job Summary
Skilled carpentry duties including construction, installation, erection, maintenance, fabrication and repair of wooden structures and fixtures (e.g., architectural woodwork, millwork, trim, framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings). Cut, shape, and fit lumber per measurements; review blueprints or specs to determine work requirements; operate a variety of power and hand tools; perform heavy physical labor; adhere to safety rules and maintain a clean work environment; follow supervisor instructions; apply carpentry techniques with emphasis on quality workmanship. On-the-job training available; safety-sensitive role.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to perform basic math
- Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside
- Physically able to perform assigned tasks
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time
- On-the-job training offered
