Job Summary
Conduct structural demolition, rough and finish carpentry, drywall installation, and project coordination for residential and commercial structures damaged by disasters. Work safely in hazardous environments using hand and power tools to remove damaged walls, floors, and frameworks while assisting with emergency board-ups and tarping roofs. Inspect damaged frameworks, measure and cut building materials, and complete specific repair tasks to finalize jobs within defined budgets and timelines. Record hours worked accurately, communicate progress to management, and travel to multiple job sites daily. Maintain clean sites, unload trash, and organize tools and vehicles.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 plus years' experience in the construction/repair industry as a Tradesman/Carpenter
- Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 25% of the time within a vehicle
- Must be able to communicate and converse with customers and internal employees over the phone and face to face
- Frequently will lift up to 60lbs
- Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
Desired Qualifications
- 5 plus years' experience in finish carpentry work
- 5 plus years experience in drywall/mudding
