Job Summary
Perform a variety of skilled carpentry work including construction, installation, erection, maintenance, fabrication, and repair of wooden structures, fixtures, architectural woodwork, millwork, trim, concrete forms, metal and wood framing, drywall, and acoustical ceilings. Cut, shape, and smooth lumber according to measurements while operating power and manual tools. Review blueprints or specifications to determine work requirements and complete assigned tasks with quality workmanship. Follow established safety rules, maintain a safe environment, and adhere to instructions from supervisors. This safety-sensitive role offers on-the-job training for those at least 18 years old who can lift 40 pounds and withstand prolonged periods standing or working outside.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to perform basic math
- Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside
- Physically able to perform assigned tasks
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time
