Job Summary
Carpenter position in the Nashville area performing skilled carpentry work on wooden structures and fixtures. Responsibilities include cutting, shaping, and installing lumber and materials; reviewing blueprints or specifications; completing carpentry tasks with quality workmanship; operating power and manual tools; performing heavy physical labor; and maintaining safety on the job site. On-the-job training is offered. The role is safety-sensitive and requires the ability to follow instructions, stay alert, and lift up to 40 pounds. Requirements include 6-12 months of prior carpentry experience, being at least 18 years old, and basic math skills. Forklift certifications are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6-12 months of previous experience
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to perform basic math
- Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside
- Physically able to perform assigned tasks
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time
- Preferred Requirements
- Class 5 & 7 Forklift certifications
