Carpenter

Carpenter required in Croydon to perform day-to-day carpentry repairs in occupied social housing properties under a responsive maintenance contract. Responsibilities include replacing internal doors, frames, handles, locks, hinges; fitting kitchen units, worktops, cupboard doors, and pelmets; installing or replacing skirting boards and architraves; repairing timber flooring, stair components, and handrails; making good with plastering or tiling as needed; recording job details and materials used using handheld devices; maintaining a high standard of work in line with health and safety regulations; and adhering to customer service standards while working in residents' homes. Requires proven domestic carpentry experience, ability to work independently, strong fault-finding, good health and safety understanding, and a full UK driving licence.
