Job Summary
Respond to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues by communicating directly with guests. Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen, and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and visual inspections. Identify, locate, and operate shut-off valves for utilities and buildings while maintaining inventory and requisitioning parts. Test, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, plumbing, electrical components, and guestroom items, including painting, drywall repair, and landscaping work. Program TVs, adjust air handler schedules, and use the Lockout/Tagout system before all maintenance tasks. Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts using approved programs. Follow safety policies, store flammable materials properly, and ensure a professional appearance while assisting guests with disabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Driver's License
- High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance
- Must be able to move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders
- Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Must be able to enter and locate work-related information using computers
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
