Job Summary
Measure distances and mark guidelines on working surfaces to prepare for laying down work. Prepare, build, and install wooden structures in line with prefabricated units to form bridges, drain structures, walls, and additional structures on commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects. Assist with the installation of awnings and metal decking for concrete slabs when decking is removed. Utilize a carpenter's belt with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery to execute tasks. This role supports the I 81 Widening Project in Roanoke, VA. Candidates must have 3-5 years of verifiable experience, the ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffolds or ladders, and the capacity to lift up to 50 lbs.
