Job Summary
Carpenter Lead responsible for guiding the Structures team, delegating tasks, and ensuring safe, compliant carpentry work that matches the existing facility. Duties include coordinating with the Site Manager and customers on repairs, inspecting completed work, reviewing quality and completeness, performing maintenance and repairs of buildings and related structures, installing interior/exterior finishes, maintaining equipment and records, and ensuring environmental protection requirements. Must read schematics/blueprints, operate hand and power tools, and work outside regular hours as needed; physical demands include lifting up to 70 pounds and working in varied environments. Requires valid driver’s license and ability to obtain security clearances and installation access; real ID-compliant credentials or equivalent may be required for access to federal installations.
Required Qualifications
- Four (4) years of carpentry or construction experience preferred
- Journeyman carpenter license preferred
- Must have valid state driver’s license
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances and installation access
- Background check and E-Verify will be conducted
