Carpenter Journeyman

Job Summary
Provide skilled craftsmanship for installation of formwork, finish carpentry and drywall; study blueprints and building plans to determine material requirements and measurements; perform concrete and rough carpentry (hand set walls, footings, gang wall forms, structural concrete decks/slabs, columns, drywall); set door frames, hang doors, and install hardware; complete finish carpentry tasks (toilet accessories, handrails, corner guards, partitions, lockers, cabinets, countertops, wall paneling, coffered ceilings, running trim); build relationships with diverse teams; adhere to safety and union standards; requires high school diploma or GED, completion of an apprenticeship program, and union-specific training; visa sponsorship not offered.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of apprenticeship program
- Union-specific training
- Ability to read blueprints/building plans and operate carpentry/industrial equipment
- Strong teamwork orientation and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (and over 50 lbs with assistance)
- Experience with formwork, doors/hardware installation, and finish carpentry
