Job Summary
Skilled carpenter duties including construction, installation, erection, maintenance, fabrication and repair of wooden structures and fixtures (architectural woodwork, millwork, trim, drywall, acoustical ceilings, etc.). Review blueprints/specifications to determine work requirements; cut, shape, and finish lumber and materials; operate power and manual tools; perform heavy physical labor; follow safety rules and maintain a clean, safe work environment. On-the-job training offered. This is a safety-sensitive position. Requires a minimum of 4 years' experience, ability to perform basic math, stand outdoors for extended periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and be at least 18 years old.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years' previous experience
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to perform basic math
- Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside
- Physically able to perform assigned tasks
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time
