Job Summary
Carpenter Journeyman position with Performance Contracting Group in New Carlisle, IN. Perform skilled carpentry work across construction activities including wooden structures, architectural woodwork, millwork, trim, concrete forms, and related tasks. Read blueprints or specifications to determine work requirements; cut, shape and finish lumber and materials; operate various power/manual tools; perform heavy physical labor; maintain safety and clean work environment; follow instructions from supervisors/foremen. On-the-job training offered; position is safety-sensitive; requires alertness and adherence to safety rules.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years' previous experience
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to perform basic math
- Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside
- Physically able to perform assigned tasks
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time
