Job Summary
Install AWW, PL, and metal casework including fume hoods and miscellaneous specialties while preplanning tools, materials, and installation techniques for speed and safety. Adhere to the ISEC Safety Program by following the Safety Promise, reporting hazards, utilizing Stop Work Authority, and contributing to overall safety program success. Report all injuries and incidents immediately. Maintain personal safety and enhance coworker safety in a positive work environment. Requires 3-5 years of finished carpenter experience, blueprint reading skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision. High school education or equivalent required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Education or Equivalent
- 3-5 years experience as a finished carpenter
- Union member where applicable
- Physically, workers must be able to: Climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolds
- Stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Use hands and arms to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects
- See well (either naturally or with correction)
- lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in casework, plastic laminate, and architectural millwork
- Ability to read blueprints
- Supply personal tools
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
