Job Summary
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures using wood, metal, and other materials, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to project specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, measure and cut materials accurately, and collaborate with the construction team to deliver projects safely and efficiently. Will travel to meet project needs, with ideal proximity to the New Braunfels area; travel to Kyle, Texas and Marion ISD in San Antonio. Emphasis on safety, quality workmanship, and adherence to building codes while coordinating with superintendents, project managers, and other trades. Must perform physically demanding tasks including climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in outdoor conditions ranging from 25 to 115 degrees Fahrenheit.
Required Qualifications
- Carpentry experience in commercial construction
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction practices
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
