Job Summary
Construct, install, and dismantle concrete forms and frameworks according to project blueprints and specifications. Measure, cut, and assemble wood, metal, and other materials to create formwork that supports concrete pours. Collaborate with concrete finishers and laborers to ensure timely and accurate concrete placement. Inspect and maintain tools and equipment to ensure safety and functionality on the job site. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. Assist in site preparation, including layout and marking of form locations. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to report progress and any issues encountered.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a carpenter, specifically with concrete formwork.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions.
- Familiarity with construction safety standards and practices.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
