Job Summary
Experienced Carpenter needed in Los Angeles to read blueprints and project plans, measure, cut, and shape wood and drywall, and build, repair, and install walls, doors, windows, cabinets, stairs, and flooring. Candidate will assemble and frame partitions and stairways, operate hand and power tools safely, and ensure work meets quality standards and deadlines. Required capabilities include reading blueprints/technical drawings, carpentry tool proficiency, attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently or in a team; English communication is essential. OSHA 30 certification and Site Safety License are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or apprenticeship a plus)
- Proven experience as a carpenter or in a related construction trade
- Strong ability to read blueprints and use carpentry tools accurately
- Excellent attention to detail, craftsmanship, and safety practices
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
