Job Summary
Construct custom exhibits, cabinetry, and scenery using industrial woodworking machinery and materials per shop drawings and verbal instructions. Operate equipment including sliding table saws, compound miter saws, band saws, jointers, and planers while verifying calculations to ensure component alignment. Assist in the assembly of carpentry projects into quality displays and meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality. Follow all applicable OSHA and corporate safety protocols to maintain a clean, organized workspace. Work in a shop environment with irregular hours, on-call status, and potential exposure to dust and chemicals.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of experience in basic carpentry
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of current production standard operating, procedures, safety protocols, materials, and installation methods
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and through computers, apps, and relevant software
- Experience at working in a collaborative team environment
- Must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore
- Must be available for irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
