Job Summary
Conduct construction and repair of wood and wallboard fixtures in compliance with local building codes and general construction principles. Set up trailers, study blueprints to determine material requirements, and build decks, stairs, roofs, and temporary structures. Hand-set forms, assemble gang forms, and perform concrete and rough carpentry including structural decks, drywall, and finish work. Unload, stockpile, and erect prefabricated materials while assisting with shooting grades and elevations. Perform all other duties as assigned. This role supports top builder Mortenson across markets including sports, renewable energy, data centers, and healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of two (2) years carpentry experience
- Ability to work with precision, visualize solid objects from drawings, and speak and understand English
- Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status
Desired Qualifications
- Trade or technical school certification/diploma preferred
