Job Summary
Constructs and repairs building frameworks as well as structures. Stairways, doorframes, partitions, rafters, cabinetry, siding, and drywall are among the on-site tasks. Requires attention to detail and understanding of wood and metal properties; may perform carpentry support activities for laborers. Must follow safety practices and work in a safety-sensitive environment. Essential duties include reading blueprints, measuring materials, loading/unloading building materials, and assisting with area housekeeping and ensuring a safe, well-organized jobsite.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Follow safe work practices per safety program
- Must be able to take initiative and follow instructions
- Strong mathematical reasoning and quantitative skills
- Provide own safety footwear
- Must communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers and stakeholders
- Reliable transportation and consistent work attendance
