Carpenter - Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Carpenter position responsible for constructing and repairing building frameworks and structures, including stairways, doorframes, partitions, rafters, cabinetry, siding, and drywall. Must read blueprints, understand wood and metal properties, and perform carpenter support duties as needed. Safety-sensitive role requiring adherence to site safety practices, reliability, and precise work with attention to detail. Preferred qualifications include experience in construction layout and blueprint/shop drawing reading, OSHA 10 Certification, and CPR/First Aid. Tasks include forming and removing concrete forms, installing window-frames, doors, partitions, millwork, trim, siding, and ensuring proper leveling of flooring, roofing, and drywall; lifting and transporting materials; and reading blueprints and taking/verifying measurements. Physical requirements include heavy manual tasks, climbing, working at heights, and extensive tool use.
