Job Summary
Construct, brace, and secure forms for concrete structures including retaining walls, pipes, and bridges on highway, road, and bridge projects. Build, align, and secure structure forms using hand and power tools to measure, cut, and assemble materials while reading construction drawings, sketches, and blueprints for accuracy. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by performing other related duties as assigned to support project needs. This role requires 3+ years of carpenter experience in Symon, EFCO, and Wood forms, with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical demands like lifting and climbing. Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends is essential.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of previous carpenter experience in all types of structural forms, including Symon, EFCO, and Wood forms for cast-in-place (CIP)
- Advanced wood forming experience
- Must provide your own hand tools, such as hammer, pouch, level, 8" crescent wrench, and tape measure
- Basic knowledge of operating hand and power tools used in construction
- Ability to read and understand construction plans, sketches, and blueprints
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the job, including standing, reaching, bending, lifting, carrying, and climbing
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends as needed
