Job Summary
Coordinate carpentry tasks according to priorities and plans by producing schedules, monitoring crew attendance, and allocating daily responsibilities. Supervise and train workers while ensuring manpower and resources remain adequate. Ensure all safety precautions and quality standards are met, resolve problems as they arise, and report progress to the Superintendent. Perform daily carpentry-related tasks as required. This role involves working in a high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations, requiring OSHA 10-hour certification or assistance in obtaining it. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of construction experience
- In-depth understanding of construction principles and procedures
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to communicate and report effectively
- Strong problem solving skills
- Willingness to work in high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations
- Ability to work in a team environment
- OSHA 10 hour certified
