Job Summary
Respond to routine and emergency calls for repairs and service under general supervision, performing skilled rough and finished carpentry including drywall, trim, ladder work, and repairs in crawl spaces. Complete and submit all necessary correspondence for work finished. Operate hand and power tools safely while lifting up to 50 lbs, utilizing digital cameras for documentation. Coordinate directly with insurance companies to manage claims from inception to completion. Work on-call, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to restore properties damaged by fire, water, wind, or natural disasters across 13 counties in Southeastern Michigan.

- Knowledge of carpentry and building materials
- Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools
- Knowledge of workplace and safe lifting and handling procedures
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Ability to use technology (i.e. digital camera)
- Client service and public interaction skills
- Team building
- Effective verbal and listening communications skills
- Time management skills
- Must have a good driving record
