Job Summary
Deliver day-to-day carpentry and general building maintenance, including repairs to doors, trims, hardware, ceilings, and FF&E. Complete preventative maintenance, reactive works, and emergency repairs across the facility. Conduct inspections, condition assessments, and assist with data collection and reporting. Prioritize and manage work orders to meet required timeframes and service standards while maintaining a safe, compliant, and hazard-free workplace. Work full-time hours from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with potential after-hours on-call roster participation. Join the Hard FM team at the Royal Adelaide Hospital to support critical infrastructure within a large healthcare facility.
Required Qualifications
- Trade qualification in Carpentry
- current White Card
- Strong knowledge of WHS requirements, building regulations and industry standards
- Experience using hand and power tools, ladders and Elevated Work Platforms
- Reliable, organised and customer-focused with strong communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in carpentry and building maintenance
