Job Summary
Install and finish various interior elements in multi-family residential properties while ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to quality control standards. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications; accurately record and maintain relevant paperwork; and safely operate relevant machinery and equipment. Report concerns and safety hazards to a supervisor and comply with all standard operating procedures and policies of Deveraux Development. Work alongside a helper or apprentice, directing and training as needed, while performing other related duties assigned by the Superintendent.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of carpentry experience
- Experience with wood framing
- A valid Driver's License
- Willing to work weekends and overtime
- Be physically fit for demanding nature of job
- Strong attention to detail with ability to follow direction and work with minimal supervision
- The ability to direct/train and work alongside a helper or apprentice
- Able to safely operate relevant machinery and equipment
- You must be legally eligible to work in Canada (e.g., be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or possess a valid work permit)
- provide a satisfactory Criminal Background Check
Desired Qualifications
- Concrete experience
- Zoom Boom or Skid Steer experience
- Preferred Journeyman Certification or Red Seal Status, or working towards
- First Aid qualification
