Job Summary
Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to obtain permits, measure materials based on blueprints, and build, install, and repair structures using wood, plastic, or fiberglass. Cut and shape fixtures, join materials with appropriate fasteners, and ensure accuracy using levels and surveying equipment. Install windows, doors, cabinets, and partitions while remodeling homes and businesses in a neat, organized, and timely manner. Complete jobs on time and budget, maintain detailed daily logs, and comply with local building codes and safety standards. Must hold an OSHA 10 card, possess at least two years of professional general carpentry experience, and own tools and a reliable, insured vehicle.
Required Qualifications
- Friendly and professional customer service skills
- Effective communication & writing skills
- Knowledge of commercial construction practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials specifications, quality control, and safety
- Ability to read and understand related construction documents (i.e., blueprints, plans, specs, shop drawings, etc.)
- Professional general carpentry experience, at least 2 years
- Residential framing and remodel experience
- Must hold an OSHA 10 card
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a face-paced & evolving environment
- Applicant MUST have own tools and a reliable & insured truck or van to travel to and from job sites
Desired Qualifications
- CSL license, preferred
- Knowledge of handicap codes (i.e., AAB, ADA, etc.) preferred
