Job Summary
Design, build, install, and repair structures, fixtures, furniture, and items using wood, steel, plastic, fiberglass, and drywall. Read blueprints, prepare layouts, and estimate dimensions while selecting appropriate materials. Operate hand and power tools to construct, install, and repair components, join materials, and erect scaffolding or temporary structures. Work at various heights, inspect completed work for code compliance, and replace building components. Move machinery, create structural supports for concrete, and travel to assigned job sites. Perform physical activities including climbing, bending, and lifting loads up to 100 pounds. Follow all safety protocols and work flexible hours to meet production goals. Requires minimum seven years of hands-on carpentry experience and a high school diploma.
