Job Summary
Design, build, and repair structures, fixtures, and furniture using wood, steel, plastic, fiberglass, and drywall while reading blueprints and interpreting supervisor instructions. Prepare project layouts, estimate dimensions, and select appropriate materials to construct, install, and repair components such as cabinetry, molding, doors, and windows. Use hand and power tools to join materials, erect scaffolding, and create structural supports for concrete work, including tunnel bracing. Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with codes and specifications, replace building components, and move machinery as required. Travel to all assigned job sites and perform physical activities including climbing, bending, and lifting loads up to 100 pounds. Follow all safety protocols and work flexible hours to meet production goals set by the Foreman, Superintendent, or Project Manager.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on carpentry experience
- Ability to lift and carry loads up to 100 pounds
- Comfortable climbing and working from ladders or scaffolding
- Capable of standing and walking for extended periods
- Travel to all assigned job sites
- Work flexible hours
- Work overtime
