Job Summary
Conduct carpentry work with three years of prior experience or equivalent vocational certification, utilizing blueprints and power tools on assigned projects. Maintain a valid Florida Driver's License and adhere to a safe driving history with no DUI convictions or excessive points in the preceding three years. Pass a Level 2 background check including fingerprinting and searches of state and federal criminal records, as well as sexual offender registries, per Florida State Statute 435.04. Successfully complete the Clay County School Board physical examination.
Required Qualifications
- Must pass Clay County School Board physical
- Requires a minimum of three years previous experience in carpentry work or a vocational/technical certification in a related area and one year relevant experience or a combination of previous education/training/experience which provides for an equivalent background necessary to perform the work
- Must be a high school graduate or have passed the G.E.D. equivalency examination
- Must have experience reading blueprints and working with power tools
- Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License appropriate for the vehicle/equipment assigned and maintain the same during employment
- Must have a safe driving history prior to employment
- Must maintain a safe driving record while employed
- All prospective employees must submit to a Level 2 background check pursuant to Florida State Statute 435.04 and be found eligible by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
