Job Summary
Carpenter/Maintenance Tradesperson required to deliver carpentry, building maintenance, repairs, renovations and upgrades across Council facilities in Wadeye and surrounding homelands. Responsibilities include supervising a Trades Assistant, mentoring Indigenous trainees, preparing job estimates and schedules, managing tools and materials, reading plans, and ensuring WHS compliance. Hands-on role with autonomy and collaboration in a remote, community-focused setting.
Required Qualifications
- Trade qualification in Carpentry or related building trade (or equivalent experience)
- White Card
- NT Driver’s Licence
- National Criminal History Check (or ability to obtain)
- Working with Children Card (or ability to obtain)
