Job Summary
Conduct carpentry tasks on project-dependent sites, reading technical guides and drawings while using tools safely and lifting up to 50lbs. Work at heights and in adverse weather, maintaining clear safety directions and hand-eye coordination. Maintain manual dexterity and basic math skills to complete assignments. Work a minimum of 40 hours weekly with overtime during the April-October busy season. Requires Carpentry Apprenticeship, CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, and proficiency in English. Pre-access drug and alcohol testing may apply.
Required Qualifications
- The ability to read and understand technical guides, drawings and specifications
- Manual dexterity and ability to use carpentry tools safely
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Good hand-eye coordination, basic math skills, and the ability to take clear safety directions on busy job sites
- Comfortable working at heights
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
- Carpentry Apprenticeship or equivalent
- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015
- Proficient English Language skills
- A reliable means of transportation
- A successful pre-access drug and Alcohol test
