Job Summary
The Carpenter Apprentice supports the construction of concrete formwork and structural elements under supervision, providing hands-on training in the concrete construction trade. Responsibilities include operating hand and motorized equipment, constructing concrete forms, and installing re-shores. Candidates should have good physical strength, balance, and the ability to perform various physical tasks. Preference is given to those with prior experience in concrete construction and certifications in crane signaling.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds and up to 90 pounds with assistance
- Good balance and physical strength
- Ability to speak and understand instructions in English
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of formwork / concrete construction work experience
- Certification in crane signaling and rigging
