Job Summary
The Carpenter Apprentice role supports the construction of concrete formwork and structural elements, providing hands-on training in the concrete construction trade. Responsibilities include measuring, cutting, and assembling formwork, operating hand and motorized equipment, and constructing various concrete forms such as foundations and walls. Successful candidates must demonstrate physical strength, good balance, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. A minimum of two years of relevant experience and crane signaling certification are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds of material and up to 90 pounds of material with assistance
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, reach, and climb frequently
- Must be able to speak and understand instructions and directives in English
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of formwork/concrete construction work experience
- Certification in crane signaling and rigging
