Job Summary
Repair, maintain, and construct wood structures including partitions, doors, furniture, and similar items throughout the hotel. Deliver high-quality service in an efficient and thoughtful manner while adhering to the highest level of service standards. Utilize vocational training or apprenticeship skills to perform finish carpentry tasks such as crown molding, wood base, and trim work, ensuring safe access to high areas using a ladder. Requires at least two years of progressive experience in a hotel or related building environment, including 2+ years in building carpentry, along with a high school diploma and U.S. work authorization.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related building environment
- 2 plus years of Building Carpentry experience
- Highly skilled in all aspects of finish carpentry, i.e. crown molding, wood base and trim work
- Ability to access high areas using a ladder
- Vocational/technical training or apprenticeship
- High school diploma
- Trade school or apprenticeship in carpentry and/or construction
- Work Authorization in the U.S.
- Extended periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs, crouching/kneeling, bending and twisting
- Carrying/lifting up to 50lbs
- Repetitive motion
- Talking/communicating/listening
