Job Summary
Carpenter responsible for building, maintaining and repairing wooden structures and fixtures across the hotel property. Duties include constructing, installing, and repairing cabinets, bed frames, doors, chairs, and furniture; assessing property needs and fabricating custom wood products; installing fixtures such as windows, frames, flooring, and trim; framing walls and door frames with precision; contributing to show and production fabrication projects; maintaining a clean, safe work environment; collaborating with other trades; and delivering excellent customer service to clients or guests.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience as a Finished Carpenter preferred
- Proficiency in using and maintaining carpentry tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical literature and blueprints
- Strong knowledge of wood, plywood, and wallboard construction techniques
- Physical strength and stamina
- Safety-conscious mindset
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Flexibility to adapt to project priorities
