Job Summary
Construct, install, and repair structural elements including framing, drywall, windows, doors, and finish carpentry components in commercial tenant improvement projects. Measure, cut, and shape materials using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment while assembling frameworks, partitions, and supports. Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project specifications to determine layout and material requirements. Build and repair cabinets, floors, doors, and other structural or finish components, ensuring all work complies with local building codes, OSHA regulations, and safety standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site while collaborating effectively with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and team members.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience in construction or carpentry
- Minimum of 5+ years of carpentry or construction experience
- Strong knowledge of tenant improvement (TI) projects, framing, drywall installation, and finish carpentry
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with local and state building codes and safety regulations
- Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment safely
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and follow established construction practices
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
Desired Qualifications
