Job Summary
Install doors and mechanical hardware including exit devices, closers, mortise locks, and mullions by reading architectural floor plans. Maintain proficiency in all Division 8, 10, 27, and 28 product installations while transferring between multiple projects as needed. Establish effective working relationships with management, co-workers, and customers across various weather conditions. Use required tools including cordless drills, skill saws, angle grinders, and safety boots to complete on-time projects with complete customer satisfaction. Required Qualifications
- Ability to read architectural floor plans
- Cursory knowledge of the construction industry and processes
- Must be proficient in installation of all doors and mechanical hardware
- Flexibility to transfer between multiple projects on an as needed basis
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Able to lift up to 80lbs
- Ability to work in various weather elements
- Able to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and team members
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers
