Job Summary
Underground Fixed Maintenance Operator responsible for safe operation of fixed plant equipment (Surface and/or Underground Batch Plant, Solid Liquid Separation Plant) and performing inspections, LOTO and troubleshooting actions, and coordinating with the team to complete preventative maintenance tasks. Duties include conducting work area exams, detailed equipment inspections, documenting deficiencies and work requests, ensuring sampling is conducted at designated intervals, operating plants safely to meet targets, and maintaining safety and environmental compliance in a rotating night/day schedule at the Carlin, NV site. Skills include basic repair work with training, safety emphasis, and collaboration with team members.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform essential functions including working in hot or cold weather conditions
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and work with minimum supervision
- Proven safety and attendance record required
- The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role
- Knowledge of underground fixed plant equipment operation is preferred
