Job Summary
Supervise baristas and staff during shifts while leading by example to ensure exceptional customer service and operational efficiency. Assist in hiring, training, and coaching team members, providing ongoing feedback to foster engagement and retention. Manage inventory, control costs, and monitor cash handling to support profitability, while resolving customer complaints promptly. Oversee equipment maintenance, troubleshoot minor issues, and ensure compliance with food safety standards and health regulations. Work variable hours between 5:00 AM and 6:30 PM, including weekends and holidays, in a fast-paced environment requiring physical stamina and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Customer service experience
- Availability to work variable hours between 5:00 AM – 6:30 PM, including weekends and some holidays
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- supervisory or coffee shop/restaurant management experience
- Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with basic computer programs, including POS systems and Microsoft Office
