Job Summary
Greet every guest with personalized recommendations and prepare coffee and other beverages quickly while following recipes. Take orders and payments efficiently, solve guest concerns, and maintain a clean, stocked coffee shop. Conduct temperature checks and complete food safety logs to ensure a sanitary environment. Assist with stocking supplies, preparing products for other shifts, and operating equipment like espresso machines and registers. Maintain regular attendance and provide adequate notice for occasional absences. This part-time role supports the Festival Foods cafe team across Wisconsin supermarkets.
Required Qualifications
- Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule
- Able to reach, lift, stack and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weighing up to 50 lbs
- Equipment operation (intercom, telephone, scanner, register, scale, blender, coffee maker, espresso machine, coffee grinder)
- Constant walking, bending, kneeling
- Early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working as a barista or in a similar food service or cashier role
