Job Summary
Greet guests, offer personalized recommendations, and prepare coffee and other beverages quickly and consistently. Take orders and payments efficiently while addressing guest concerns, maintaining a positive atmosphere. Keep supplies stocked, floors clean, and the coffee shop organized. Conduct temperature checks and complete food safety logs to ensure a safe environment. Prepare products for other shifts and assist in stocking and organizing supplies as needed. Maintain regular attendance and provide adequate notice for occasional absences.
Required Qualifications
- Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule
- Able to reach, lift, stack and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weighing up to 50 lbs
- Equipment operation (intercom, telephone, scanner, register, scale, blender, coffee maker, espresso machine, coffee grinder)
- The work schedule may include early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working as a barista or in a similar food service or cashier role
