Carhop/ Skating Carhop (server)

Job Summary
Serve product to guests while ensuring quality and appearance standards are met before delivery. Carry and balance trays weighing up to 25 pounds, respond promptly to requests, and assist with payments and change. Clear trays, trash, and grease from vehicles, patios, drive-thrus, and parking lots. Perform regular cleaning and sanitation duties including dishwashing, equipment cleaning, and food prep area sanitization. Move and stock food product weighing up to 50 pounds. Skating Carhops complete training requirements and perform duties while on roller skates. Report customer and employee issues to the Manager on Duty. Work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- General restaurant or retail knowledge
- Basic math and reading skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow directions
- Customer service and multi-tasking skills
- Regular attendance
- Complete Skating Carhop training requirements
- Perform duties while on roller skates
- Must be able to carry and balance a tray weighing up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to move and stock food product weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to clear trays and trash from guests' vehicles, patio, drive-thru, and parking lot
- Must be able to perform regular cleaning and sanitation duties including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease
- Must be able to work in an environment with continuous standing, bending, reaching, moving, stooping, stretching, lifting, and skating
- Must be able to tolerate frequent exposure to heat and hot liquid shortening while cooking
- Must be able to tolerate frequent exposure to freezer when stocking food items
- Must be able to tolerate occasional exposure to extreme temperatures based on variable weather conditions
- Must be available for irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
