Job Summary
Serve product to guests by carrying and balancing a tray weighing up to 25 pounds, ensuring items meet operational, quality, and appearance standards before delivery. Provide friendly, quick, and polite service while promptly responding to guest requests, assisting with payment, and reporting customer complaints to the Manager on Duty. Perform regular cleaning and sanitation duties including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, and emptying used grease. Clear trays and trash from guests' vehicles, patio, drive-thru, and parking lot. Make accurate change quickly and efficiently. Skating Carhops complete training requirements and perform duties while on roller skates. Move and stock food product weighing up to 50 pounds. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
Required Qualifications
- General restaurant or retail knowledge
- Basic math and reading skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow directions
- Customer service and multi-tasking skills
- Regular attendance
- Complete Skating Carhop training requirements
- Perform duties while on roller skates
- Must be able to carry and balance a tray weighing up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to move and stock food product weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to clear trays and trash from guests' vehicles, patio, drive-thru, and parking lot
- Must be able to perform regular cleaning and sanitation duties including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease
- Must be able to work in an environment with continuous standing, bending, reaching, moving, stooping, stretching, lifting, and skating
- Must be able to tolerate frequent exposure to heat and hot liquid shortening while cooking
- Must be able to tolerate frequent exposure to freezer when stocking food items
- Must be able to tolerate occasional exposure to extreme temperatures based on variable weather conditions
- Must be available for irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
