Job Summary
Cargo Warehouse - Palletizer role in aviation ground services: responsible for loading/unloading cargo, verifying piece count, weight, and dimensions, issuing warehouse receipts or collecting signed delivery receipts, ensuring cargo releases, operating basic cargo handling equipment (forklift, aircraft pallets, pallet jacks), organizing cargo for departures/receipts, maintaining inventory and security, reporting incidents, ensuring clean and safe work areas, completing relevant paperwork and data entry, and following safety procedures. Requires ability to lift 70+ pounds, walk/climb/bend/kneel/crawl, and communicate effectively with flight crews and ground staff. Must be 18+, possess a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent), have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and have work authorization for the U.S. or Canada as applicable. Ramp and SIDA training are required to obtain airport screening access; be able to obtain a Customs Seal if needed. Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Preferred: 1+ year of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma, GED, or work experience equivalent
- Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- If work location is in the United States, must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- If work location is in Canada, must have authorization to work in Canada as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) of 2001
- Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security
- If required by customer or role access, be able to secure a Customs Seal through the respective governing agency
- One+ year of relevant experience (Preferred)
