Job Summary
Carry out cargo screening functions to screen for IEDs, IED components, or other dangerous substances that may be found in air cargo; operate screening equipment such as X-ray and ETD machines; identify dangerous objects and prevent their transport onto aircraft using ETD equipment and visual/physical search; complete startup procedures and documentation for screening equipment; utilize handheld tools to assist in opening/screening cargo configurations; maintain cargo screening logs; interact with Airline Customers, TSA, CBP in a professional manner; work in a demanding environment with alarms, noise, and time pressure; follow TSA/Airport Security procedures and notification procedures; role requires 18+, a valid US driver's license, ability to pass drug testing and physical, English proficiency, lifting 70lbs, and flexibility for shifts; forklift certification is preferred; prior loading/unloading experience preferred; strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; commitment to safety and compliance with security programs.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Possess and maintain valid US driver's license
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing to include drug testing and a physical
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to lift 70lbs
- Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
- Pass FBI background and obtain US Customs Seal
