Cargo Disposition Coordinator

Coordinate disposition of product refused by customers and investigate data-gathering activities. Oversee multiple open delivery discrepancies across Refrigerated, Dry, Flatbed, Rail, and Logistics loads; manage, control, and monitor disposition until the company is relieved of control by the customer. Ensure proper billing of expenses (re-delivery, destruction, storage, and other charges). Respond to drivers’ inquiries about cargo discrepancies, monitor freight-disposition queues, and maintain KPIs. Evaluate refused freight and coordinate disposition with designated departments for timely resolution; verify and document disposition in systems and customer portals. Authorize and control costs by negotiating with customers, third-party vendors, and internal personnel; make economic decisions based on data gathered. Communicate updates to all parties and document charges to ensure proper billing recovery. Maintain open claims queues and liaise with billing to ensure timely application of charges. Proactively support organizational objectives and contribute to training and growth initiatives.
