Job Summary
As a Carer at Anglicare Sydney, you will provide high quality care and support to residents, helping them live with dignity and purpose. You will assist with daily tasks, provide emotional support, and offer companionship, ensuring the physical comfort and emotional health of residents. You will provide personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, feeding), support mobility, monitor residents’ progress, and work with healthcare professionals to deliver person-centred care in an inclusive environment. The role requires a Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support or equivalent, at least 2 years’ experience, and an NDIS Worker Screening Check. You’ll thrive if you are compassionate, patient, and able to work both independently and as part of a team, aligned with Anglicare’s Christian ethos and values. Required Qualifications
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent qualification
- minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance ID
- All required qualifications must be recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework
