Job Summary
Receive and enter new ancillary healthcare referrals into coordination systems while providing telephonic and written customer service to claimants, providers, and claims management. Complete accurate data entry, review orders, and transcribe correspondence from dictation. Ensure all case stakeholders are updated regularly and use critical thinking to resolve scheduling challenges without delays. Operate with a high focus on accuracy and urgency to meet departmental production and quality performance expectations in a high-volume call-center environment. Work Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM EST.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Prior work experience in a detail-oriented customer service environment
- Ability to work on several concurrent tasks and prioritize workload to meet designated deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize Microsoft Office and Proprietary Systems
- Strong interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor that sets tone for complex telephonic conversations
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
