Job Summary
Provide companionship and conversation while assisting with personal care tasks like bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding seniors. Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry and linen changing, and plan and prepare meals. Remind clients of medication schedules and interpret their provided plan of care. Maintain dignity and respect for all clients, ensuring they are reached via phone or email for shift updates and emergencies. Requires Hoyer Lift experience, ability to lift 25 lbs, and reliable transportation. Flexible schedule includes one weekend day and one weekday from 9am-7pm plus fill-in shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Hoyer Lift Experience
- Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
- Ability to interpret the client's provided plan of care
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
- Must be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergencies
- Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
