Job Summary
Provide companionship, assist with personal care tasks like bathing and dressing, perform light housekeeping, prepare meals, and manage medication reminders for senior clients. Interpret the client's plan of care and maintain dignity while lifting up to 25 lbs. Experience with Hoyer lifts and dementia care is required; reliable transportation and phone availability for shifts are mandatory. Work one weekend day and one weekday from 9am-7pm plus fill-in shifts at a rate of $23 per hour. This role focuses on one-on-one care within the senior care industry.
Required Qualifications
- Hoyer Lift Experience
- Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
- Ability to interpret the client's provided plan of care
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
- Must be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergencies
- Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care
